After receiving the professional commission of one of our clients to project the reformed state of a Town house in the historical center of Javea (Alicante), we concluded the project and ideational phase obtaining as a result a home with a modernized look, very bright with amplitude of spaces.
The building has three floors, one of them semi-basement with access to a large backyard.
The traditional style of the municipality is recreated on its front façade and, as a counterpoint, its back façade is more modern, with materials such as Tosca stone and Corten steel, with straight lines predominating.
The large windows allow a huge amount of light that enters all the interior spaces.
The pre-existing patio of lights is glazed, making it function as an articulating axis between the different floors, as well as a separating element between the dining room and the living room.
In addition, the slab of the ground floor is torn, in the living room area, to generate a double-height space, which communicates with the semi-basement.
The double height wall of the area is covered with a vertical garden to give a feeling of fresh and landscaped outdoor space inside the house.
The master bedroom has beautiful views of the backyard through its large paneled window.
The charming backyard features an elevated mini-pool above the ground, with a small shallowed area.
This volume in turn serves as a minimalist planter integrated into the space.
The three bedrooms are large in size and have a complete en suit bathroom.
